Ordering—Your solar journey begins once you submit our online ordering form at newnergy.co.nz, or by calling us on 022 183 5158. We may make an assessment with respect to whether your home is a good fit for solar and what system will be the most appropriate based on from details in the form you fill.
Payment—Once we receive your fully payment or your loan approval confirmation from the finance company, we start processing your order to the next step -- Regulatory approvals.
Regulatory approvals—The last step before we install the panels is to get approval from your local lines company for the installation of a solar system on your home roof. Once approved, your power provider will replace your old meter to a new import/export meter that allows you to get paid an agreed rate for your exported energy.
Activation—We are now ready to install solar panels on your roof. Installation typically takes around one day depending on the weather and the complexity and size of your installation. We will meet you at your place on the agreed day and time to fit the gear, hook up the electrical connections and set up the monitoring. After installation is complete, you can download Newnergy mobile app to your phone to view your solar production from anywhere in the world.
The solar journey is now complete. You can start enjoying the benefits from the sun. We will stay in touch with you about solar and energy efficiency tips, tricks, and new innovations.
