Before enjoying solar, the following steps need to be completed.

1. Installing inverter

    After the completion of installing solar panels on roof, the next step is to install the grid-tie inverter and connect the inverter to the grid.

    Installing grid-tie inverter must be done by registered electrician*.

    a) Fixing inverter on the wall

    b) Wiring inverter

2. Paper work

    On completion of the inverter installation, the electrician must provide the following two documents** to you:

      a) A copy of a signed Certificate of Compliance outlining the scope of the installation (including reference to compliance with AS 4777.1 and AS 4777.2); and

      b) A documented schedule of the final voltage and frequency protection settings applied to each inverter.

    Once you get these documents, you must email the copy of them to the line company.

3. Installing the import/export meter

    The import/export meter will be installed by your power company.

4. Congratulations, you can enjoy solar now.
